Public Grievance Redressal

It has been observed that the majority of grievances in offices and departments are related to inordinate delay in taking decisions, extending from several months to several years and refusal/inability to make speaking replies/disclose basic information to the petitioners to enable them to examine whether their cases have been correctly decided.

The Sahitya Akademi has put in place an efficient mechanism as outlined above to address public grievance or any complaint falling under its purview.

Wherever there is a doubt on the jurisdiction of grievance or complaint, Sahitya Akademi places the matter before the Executive Board.

Sahitya Akademi strives that all grievances and complaints within its purview should be resolved completely.

To avoid delay in access and approach, Sahitya Akademi has put its Citizen’s Chart in its Website.
