Description

This is a collection of poems of the distinguished Punjabi poet Surjit Patar. The Sindhi translation of the poems is done by Mohan Himthani who is a noted Sindhi poet. This volume was awarded the Sahitya Akademi Award. These poems deal with the poet’s land, moral values, and his empathy with the poor and helpless and are written in an easy and simple style, yet with a powerful imagery which shake you out of slumber.
