Description

Marathi Dalit Kavita, edited by B. Rangrao, is a representation of the Marathi Dalit Poetry of the last four decades, and includes select poetry of Namdev Dhasal, distinguished Indian poet writing in Marathi, to the young poets writing today such as Ram Dotonde, Uttam Ambhore, Mangesh Bansod. The poetry included here fairly represents all the subjects, content, issues that Dalit poetry has been voicing. The Dalit literature in general and Dalit poetry in particular has contributed a lot to the all inclusiveness and richness of Marathi literature.
