Babarchi Smrutichitren is a Marathi translation by Hari Ramchandra Divekar, distinguished scholar of ancient languages and history, of the English translation by F.G. Talbot of Baburnama, memoir  written by Babur, the great mughal emperor and founder of the Mughal dynasty in India. The accomplished Marathi translation firmly establishes that the memoir is not merely a historical account narrating strategies of war, political views of the ruler butt also an appealing literary work of art that speaks of deep aesthetic sense and sensitivity of the emperor.
